Ok here is what I have Joes cnc 2006 Hobby CNC Pro Rev 1 (4 Axis but not using the A...yet)(Also had the board for two years and just now got to wiring cnc....uggg Keiling 425oz Unipolar Motors 8- wire I am in the process of wiring up my Joes 2006. Here are my questions 1. in the wiring diagram it has 6 limit switches (z+, z-, y+, ect...) and it also has 0 (x,y,z) switches. But wouldn't one of the limit switches per axis be the 0 switch? 2. Do I have to have that big capacitor in my power supply? I am going to be using (2) 24v / 6.5A supplies wired in series so I get 42v / 6.5A. Do I need the cap? What is it used for? Thanks |
