First off I'll say hi as this is my first post, still finding my feet around here havent had enough time lurking to see where everything is at.
I am a CNC programmer/setter so I am sure I will come in handy at some point. What I am after though is a little bit of a nudge in the right direction on building my own CNC. The biggest deal for me is going to be able to source the linear slide and ball screw at a price thats good.
I am pretty sure thats everyones problem though.
I already found this little gem on ebay.... Clicky
Seems to be pretty nice, although I am sure one or 2 of you guys may be able to tell me if its ideal for an X-axis or not. From all the research I have been doing the Nema 23 seems to be the favourite choice I am not too sure if it would have the poke needed to drive that, any ideas appreciated very much so
