    Question New to all this!

    Hi all

I am new to all this I use 3ds max and have been messing with cut3d and would like to create my models with a CNC machine I have seen the Fireball advertised http://www.probotix.com/FireBall_v90_cnc_router_kit/ advertised but is it any good? would they ship to the UK?

I have also seen the How to Make a Three Axis CNC Machine (Cheaply and Easily) http://www.instructables.com/id/How-...-Cheaply-and-/ but I'd rather buy a kit that its going to work than botch one up myself.

My budget is roughly $600 (£300) and I require to be able to use 0.25 inch end mills

    Help!
    Thanks

    Tim

    It is VERY good

And we WILL ship to the UK. We ship these all over the world.

Trust me, you will spend more money trying to make a home-built machine work, even if you build one from plans, than you will spend for the V90 that is already engineered for you.

And you will never some close to the speeds the V90 achieves with any hardware store machine. As a newbie, you may not realize how important the higher machine speeds are - but they are.

You can upgrade the machine to a trim router to be able to use 1/4" shaft bits.

I invite you to the FireBall CNC Yahoo group to talk to all the the satisfied V90 owners.

The price on this machine does not include the motors or any other electronics. You will have to purchase them extra so factor this into total price.
