Hi, I use a 3 axis CNC machine at work and was wondering how easy it is to produce CNC portraits like the ones here?

We currently use both AXYZ Toolpath and RhinoCAM software. Do you need special software to create these portraits?
Any help would be greatly received.

There is a demo version of SuperCamXp at:

With it you can generate G&M code files for line width engraving and point per pixel engraving. It works with BMP black and white files.
Here is a web site with an effort to explain how to directly run it on a Taig Mill.

You will note at the bottom right corner there is a button with GenGcode as the legend. It will create a G&M code file of the current settings. You don’t get a chance to name the file, the file name created is displayed in the console area at the bottom left, yellow background.
I have yet actually run one from the code file generated.
