    Whale Intarsia work

    Cut on my Sherline mill.
    1 piece of wood.
    No other wood added.
    No glue, either...
    Enjoy

That is great, I have tried using ply wood to get the same affect but the glue (Ugly black) keeps getting in the way. Did you make your own Ply?
What was the cut time on that?

    Thanks for the kind comments.

No, I didn't make my own ply.
I just bought it at my local home store. (Menards)
It is like a hobby plywood.
Not like your regular plywood you wood use in your home.
I think the grains are tighter in the hobby ply.

    As for times..
It took about 14 hours to cut out.
I think I could have cut that in half.
I was only going .03 deep.
I think I could have went .0625 deep.

I was using a Beckwith .0625 tapered ball nose.

Very good bits. I highly recommend them!

My next one I am going to try is going to be a portrait.
