Draw them up yourself?
That way it is your own idea.
I am building/making one as we speak...

Anyone, have plans for building a tattoo machine. I would have a blast making just for the sake of saying I made one.

With a little practice, I might be able to tattoo that well.
Dear greasetattoo,
That is an incredible application for CNC.
My worry would be that when MS Vista goes ape, your gadget might print all kinds of stuff on my face.
Probably an improvement, actually.
Best wishes,
Martin
nah just a basic tattoo gun...I'll see if I can check out my artists...so I can make something custom. I'll be heading back for more work in July, so I'm sure I can get a few ideas while i'm there
I have had a request for stainless steel guide templates for tattooing and I will get them laser cut when order comes through. Easiest CNC job yet.
Wow, that's pretty neat! amazing what folk think up!
I have visions of the machine becomming sentient though and stabbing little holes in your veins because It decides to do a peck cycle.
God, you wouldn't want to mess up a Z retract on that program would you?
I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.
Hey Neal,
So, your making some Stainless stencils?
You mean someones just traces the template with the tattoo machine?
I don't think it would work.
If thats what I think you mean?
Am I correct?
Many years ago when I was a student with no money, I made a tattoo gun out of a set of electric hair clippers! Good times. (jail house stuff, never been there though)
Recent years, I just bought one off of ebay. You know what amazes me, the general design of the conventional tattoo gun has never been changed. I guess no reason to, but that has to be 60 year old technology. I guess the needle just has to move up and down and a more power efficient design wouldn't matter much, just funny that the tattoo gun is one of the only things that haven't changed with evolution and technology, just the power supply.
