    Adjustable tubing joints source???

Im looking for some small adjustable tubing joints. I have seen aluminum joints
that hold tubing with a set screw and have a nut and bolt that functions as the joint hinge. Anyone know where I can get some of these? I want to use them to construct a cubed frame. I have seen ones that are 1.5" and bigger, but none smaller. Im not even sure what they are called officially. Any help would be great.

    Regards,
    Rich

    Excuse the bad drawing

Excuse the bad drawing but this is simular to what I am looking for. I have seen them used for safety rails, constructing desks, platforms, and scaffolding. Just looking for a clean way to fab a pipe cube without it looking
    like a home depot jobby.

Stainless Steel and chromed "Rail Fittings" are used in the marine industry for spray shields/dodgers and awnings. Is that any help? 1/2, 5/8, 7/8. and 1 inch are typical - you can find 1 1/4. Some bits are made in plastic as well. Some of the manufacturers are; TaylorMade, Sea Fit, and a few others. Look for "rail fittings", and maybe Bimini, awning, etc to find a source. Boaties use 'em all the time. If you can find them thru a cheaper place than a marine dealer (might try an awning manufacturer or canvas outlet) - all the better! - Good luck, hope that helps - Jim
Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.
