Hey Guys I am trying to make a very small propeller around 0.35" in diameter, my problem is, how the hell can I mill it? the smallest tool i have is a 0.05" end mill, but it obviously cannot get in between the blades, can you get smaller cutting bits? I want to cut it out of 0.06" thick aluminium. I have not figured out 3D drawing yet so is simply a cut out of a shape. Any ideas on what I could use? DJH |

| Have not figured a way around it, but instead I used 0.009" thick brass with a 30 degree engraving bit, as it was so thin it only used the point of the engraving bit, making it effectivley a very small diameter tool. the added bonus is that i can bend the blades to give a 3d propeller effect. ![]() DJH |
