R/C Foam airplane plans in dxf or dwg

Hi

I am hooked on R/C air planes, and most of all building foamies
I am wondering if someone has any plans for any parkjets or similar in dxf or dwg format, so that I can stack the parts together and run them on my cnc?

I have downloaded alot of plans from parkjets.com inpdf forma, and converted them with Aide Pdf2Dxf, but the resluts are not the best.

Mabye these plans are convertet from cad files to pdf´s and something happened in the converting process.

If anyone has any good software for converting the files to recomend, please do so

Best reg
Cory

what are your issues importing?

I have been taking a lot of PDF's and importing them most come in just fine, however some come in as a mesh. if that happens I just use convert from object -> duplicate border, this gives me an outline then I delete the mesh.

Then it's onto tooling and cut paths...

If you ever see a model you are having issues with hollar and i will be glad to try and convert it for ya!

Thanx alot for the info, but could you please explain the prosess of duplicating the border as I do not find any options to do this, neither can I find any info in the help menu.
i am running acad 2006.

BTW what import program or plugin for acad do you use?

Thanx in advance

I'm using RhinoCad that's probably the difference. The reason I make the outline is because when I'm cutting out foam airplanes all I do is a profile cut so all I need is the outline to follow. If I use a mesh then I have to use 3d cuts....

corydoras,

Did you ever get information or files for building cnc foam airplanes? I have been working with two of my sons in this new hobby of ours (flying) and would be interested too in anything that would help me make some foamies on the cnc. Thanks
