Machining an AR-15 lower on a Taig

This will prove to be quite the task for my little Taig, but slow and steady wins the race, right? Anyways, here's a link to the pages I've set up on my website:

Check it out and let me know what you guys think! Even if you're not into firearms, its still cool from a machining standpoint.

Looks like quite a project for a taig, but very doable I think, just very slowly.

Im planning on making an upper and lower on my mini mill(minus the big long holes, I'll do those on a bridgeport) but Im looking at making it billet, slightly re-designed.

I think I'll be able to handle the 1" thru hole on the upper with my 9x20 lathe just fine. But saying that and actually doing it are 2 totally different things!

Some new updates have been made and the lower is coming along nicely. Check it out!
