A few years ago I attended a Machine Fair where I saw a booth promoting what looked like Toy Machine Tools. It attracted a large crowd so I didn't get the chance to go near to find out more. But what I saw was this; lathe, milling, drilling machines you could literally hold in one hand. It worked extremely well with wood and polymer material. The company is probably European. I would be greatful if anybody have any information about this or better still a web site. Cheers, Lim |

| Hmm... could it have been the Unimat 1 you have seen? It's a flexible "toy" that can be configured in various ways. Main colours is red and black. Sorry have only seen pictures of them so I can't tell the actual size. /jan |

| Thanks Mike, I got a reply from Emco Maier saying that they no longer carry this range in their production. They also gave me the same link you did. I wonder when the switch happen and why. Nevertheless it is still made in Austria and is still available. Great stuff. It may be a great way to introduce machine tools to kids but these machines can do serious work. Lim |
