Laser Etch Bare Aluminum then anodize

i have a project to complete and need some help from fellow members here.
i was task to laser etch an gold anodize aluminum with lettering "do not torque". What is the best possible solution? The parts have not gone to the anodizing shop yet. Can i etch with ceramark on the bare aluminum and then anodize over it?

I would think you'd want to anodize first, then laser engrave second. I would think the chemical cleaning bath then the coating would hide any engraving prior to plating, making it hard to read.
