I need help finding someone to do some CNC work in New york area

    Hello,

I wasn't sure where to post this so I hope this is a good enough place under the general tab. I am working with 1" thick, 1/2" thick and 1/4" thick acrylic sheet that I need to have cut with a proper CNC machiene. The project will be made up of rectilinear pieces and components that must fit together acuratly. I have drawn it on AotoCad as well so its all layed out and can provide whatever drawing a machenist needs to plug into thier CNC computer. I would also like to purchase the acrylic from the same place as well. looking for Polycast cast acrylic sheet for the 1" and 1/2", the 1/4" can be less expensive grade. 1" will be clear, 1/2" will be black and 1/4" will be a combo of red and clear.

can you help me find a good CNC machienist in the NY area approx 1/2 hour north from NYC. I will also travel upto 1 hour from my westchester home. thanks so much for your help. also I will need about 50 or so pieces cut can you give me an idea how much I should be looking at for this type of project?

    Coralcrazed,

You might have better luck posting in the RFQ section of the forum.

You may receive better pricing if you allow others to bid that are not in your area, the goods could be shipped.
