What are you trying to do to your ceramics with CNC? Build them, carve them, decorate them or what?
Hi All
I am a ceramic artists using CNC on low fired ceramic, can anyone recommend a supplier of tools for this purpose in the UK?

I'm not sure what your materials, your process or your "normal" bit is, but a single or two-flute carbide ball endmill would be where I'd start if I was carving green (unfired) ceramic, and if those tools wear out prematurely go to diamond-coated carbide. If you're carving fired ceramic, then I'm not surprised your tooling isn't up to it. Go with PCD (polycrystaline diamond) tooling if you must do that at all, do it wet, and be careful about patrolling the abrasive fines the process will generate.
