Default Help designing a 3d template

Hallo, I am new to this forum. This will be my first post, so I am not sure if I am posting in the right place. I have a lasercutter and are cutting mainly 2d objects. I saw a nice idea on pinterest, but don't know how to design it. I am using corel draw. I have attached a picture of what I want to make. I have the centre snowflake, but I am not sure how to design the 2 circles to fit like that. Any tips / help?

It's just done with half notches the same width as the thickness of your material.
Then the parts just slip fit together.
    Like this.
