Sending NC programs to SEICOS lambda 10L (hitachi seiki tf-25)

I'm unable to send NC Programs from a PC to SEICOS lambda 10L (hitachi seiki tf-25 cnc lathe), using the RS232 cable.
If anyone shares the procedure, its would be a life saver. I wonder if there might be a dedicated program for this purpose from hitachi seiki.
I've tried every possible option with CIMCO, and still can't do it.

I don't know the correct procedure of sending codes for this machine, I do according to my experience but I'm unable to send or receive codes, if you know the procedure and the correct settings, Please let me know. (using rs232 cable)

John, Do you know the parameters related to rs232 connection for seicos lamda 10L? maybe I should check those. As I read in this thread, baud rates and settings for the ports are stored as a parameter. Im not sure what the settings in the user interface in the input screen, are for?

they are parameters 5000-5199, that should get you set to send/receive

the Lambda should have a setting page to access all your send /recieve parameters.

I do not know your cable configuration. it could be a cts/rts or xon/xoff issue
does your cable work on any other machines? if so match the cts & xon settings.

if i recal you have RS232 port 1 & port 2 on your setting page try them both

Here's the list of parameters 5000 to 5200 on my machine:

However I dont know the correct settings for them, my RS232 cable works fine with another korean CNC lathe that we have. should I change the connections on my RS232 cable? if you can possibly point out how and the correct configuration for the cable, I can do it on my own or find someone who can do it according to the diagrams you provide.

I tried to set the parameters according to the maual today (Thanks Jeff), used Parameter 20, 21 to set rs232 as the comunication means, set the baud rates, stop beats, etc both using the settings page and parameters page, but i still get either "line is busy" or "Framing error"

John,I still have problems, I got the documents for the correct configuration of RS232 cable, and the settings from hitachi seiki support. but can't send programs to the machine, i guess its a defective motherboard. I'm looking for a brand new motherboard, if you have in stock, please send a private message.

so you have a TF25 w/ lamda 10? What is the alarm you are getting? Have you set the communication parameters to you parameter sheets? Did it used to work previously?

We have a similar problem, no matter what we try we get "line busy" when trying to send/recieve.
