Need help On retrofit Hardinge HC cnc chucker to newer CNC Mach3

I have a Hardinge HC 8 turret chucker lathe that i'd like to convert to CNC with Mach3 any Ideas out their I have picture's of the lathe. If you do this how much will you charge to do it I live in north central Kansas. Or if you know of anyone that sells a complete package please let me know I'm sure i will have to replace the steppers that are on it with digital ones and i'l like a pendent with this also i can provide a computer & monitor kyb mouse and such. The most important part is the turret the motor speed is not important but if possible that would be great. Your Machine is very similar to my Tsugami chucker lathe that I am doing a conversion on.
Since all of the hard work is done such as motor mounts and ball screws it shouldn't be to tough for you to do it yourself or for a local company to do it for you.
It is a shame you don't live closer as it is a bit of a drive from Kansas to CT.

Out of curiosity, whay is your budget?

I plan on doing my turret also and am looking for some good ideas. I have a few floating around in my head but more are welcome.

You mentioned removing the steppers. I notice from the pictures that the motor has a brush holder (steppers don't have brushes). Also the last picture shows a Sierracin tachometer and another picture shows a resolver. I think you might have the DC servo package for that Bandit, not the stepper version.

I'm not sure that makes a huge difference, but thought you might like to know.

The Hardinges we've retrofitted are all the later HNC or CHNC versions. It doesn't look like the turrets are the same.
