I haven't located very much information here or elsewhere on fixing heavily worn ways, next to the headstock. Can the way be turned end for end on the 5 inch bed madel ? If I have it ground, do you grind the dovetails also ? The former owner of my old lathe used it only at the headstock and seldom used the tailstock. The way has a .006 drop on the operator side for 10 inches. thanks Rich |
