New Machine Build- Hardinge HNC with Mach 3

I am finally starting on my replacement of an Allen Bradley Control with a Mach 3 system and servo drives. The machine is a Hardinge HNC with 8 station turret. I want to use my 2HP drive motor
Here is my list. Please comment and suggest anything that will reduce cost, increase reliablity, or make it easier.

Why not use the C25 it would be a lot less money?

Having only a small amount of electrical/electronic knowledge, I thought it might be smarter to use a opto-isolated board.
All comments and suggestions are very welcome.

Since the Gecko's already have built in opto isolation, I would not waste the money.
