This isn't a CNC but I don't know where else to post it. I rebuilt the turret of a DV-59 2nd-op over the week end and am having trouble getting the gib adjusted. Anyone ever work on one of these? No mater what I try it is either sloppy or locked up. Thanks, HBFixedGear |

Wow! With all of the DV-59s out there I thought someone might have a little info for me. Hardinge did clear up part of the problem. It turns out that the gibs were ground to fit each individual machine and I had mixed them up. Now it isn't locking up but I still need to adjust/align the turret with the spindle. Any one have a procedure written up for this? Possibly a link to something? Thanks |
