I'm looking at a new BUCK Power Chuck made custom by Buck for Haas TL-15 and TL-25 lathes, available for a significant discount from the manufacturer.

It has an M40x1.5 draw tube thread, and a 10mm draw action.

I'd like to determine if I can adapt this chuck to my CHNC-I, but I have no drawings for the draw tube, or info on the draw tube actuator (i.e. the distance it travels while pulling the draw tube.)

If I knew what the draw distance is, the thread size on the inside of the spindle actuator, the distance to the face of the spindle, and the max bore diameter, I could fashion an intermediate adapter between the two. Basically, one end would screw into the chuck's M40x1.5, and the other end would be threaded to fit into the machine.

I know the obvious answer is, look at your lathe and measure, but the lathe is coming in several days, and the auction is ending soon.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
