HELP

I have a 1984 model Hardinge CHNC with a GN Fanuc T6 control that will not run or take any MDI commands. After powering up I am able to home machine and jog and manually move slide but will not change tools or run program. Found broken air regulator for collet clamp, replaced and still does same thing. Checked all limit switches and all pressure gages are good. Any ideas?

Does this machine have a rotary selector to change modes? Is the selector actually working? Is the switch stuck but the knob only turns?
