Would you buy Hardinge lathe again?

I have a TL1 (Haas) and it has been great and made me lots of parts and some good money.
But now I want a full CNC machine with two spindles and Y axis. I make a lot of special fasteners for trucks etc. I need now to up the tolerance game and also the output.

The Hardinge RS MSY seems great but perhaps I could get further with less money on a GS200 MSY.

Any advice would help

Haas does have many live tool lathe, but I haven't see any one with Y axis, if what you looking for Y is a must then I guess go with diffirence brand is a must. Is Hardige is only brand name you have in mind? If money is not a big deal I could suggest go with Mazak(down side is G-code is option and mazatrol will for you force to work around it instead what you want them to), Mori, Okuma. And if you are look for a less expensive like Doosan, Kia.

Got the machine 6 weeks ago and it is really nice up and running and totally accurate. Making lots of parts. Do find the 65mm collet chuck essential though. The machine is small and for smaller parts but then works brilliantly for production with parts catcher, programmable tail stock, swarf conveyor, real easy hand controls and I find the Fanuc control totally reliable.

Considering what I paid for this new GS200 machine I am going to be making profit very soon.
