Default Hardinge Conquest T42SP sub spindle dead

Newly acquired Hardinge Conquest T42SP live tool+sub spindle. No indicator lights or response for sub spindle functions (open/close). Programming M33 returns "Invalid M-code" alarm. Does anyone have a schematic for this machine? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot sub spindle?

The sub spindle lock pin may be your issue. If the proximity sensor goes on said lock pin switch, the machine will not alarm out when this happens. It will just enter a no run state. I had the local Fanuc guru come in and jump the circuit out. Been fine ever since. You can also spend all the time and effort to replace the Bimba made switch. Hardinge has this switch wired into the control ladder so the Sub won't start if the lock pin is engaged. Only time you use the lock pin is to change out Sub Spindle collets Etc.
I can post a picture with the corresponding terminals to jump out if you would like.
