    Default Chnc Turret Problem

I have an early chnc and my turret only indexes to 4 positions. When any of the other 4 positions are called up the turret functions properly and turns but then it over shoots the position. I haven't had this machine very long and would like to know if anyone may have an idea what to look for.

    Thanks,

i had an issue just yesterday where the turret would raise and just keep spinning, i swapped out the encoder and this did not fix the issue, next i changed the solenoid that stops the turret and once again this did not fix the issue. i found that the indexer motor has a valve, this piece upon inspection was full of what seemed to be rust from possible water in the system over the years. swapped part and all is good once again. hope this helps.

Are you still on this forum, Hernandez? I'm working on my chnc2 also, but my turret encoder is fried and I'm looking for info from an original part.
