Some of Our Customers are using Siemens 810D Control for Die & Mould machining. They use softwares like TEBIS, Surfcam etc.

I want to know, what commands should be written on the Top of the Part Program, to run highspeed milling.

Also how can we activate handling of acceleration & decceleration in Siemens 810D?

Hi. The only true way to document feeds and speeds for machining, expecially with 5 axis machining, HSM and High Veloicity machining is to be able to obtain dynamic information to obtain correct speeds and feeds, depth of cut, etc. A general spreadsheet only contains general speeds and feeds which should be available thru most tool supply companies like Ingersol, Sandvik, etc. I am sure you can get a CD from them of data. (This information provided from them - does not include dynamics for calculations) If you want to pump up the volume and be more precise in determining your shops needs for feeds and speeds, depth of cut, material, power, etc you might look into CHiPS. It is a custom database, uses dynamics and is the cutting edge. See mfg-labs.com. There will be article out in Mold Making Technology in September 2004 called "Chatter Myths" that will tell of some dynamic information required for feeds and speeds, it might give you some insight for things to come.
