For high-speed machining you will want to check out Invert-A-Bolt(tm) fasteners for hold-down http://www.invert-a-bolt.com/shop_fast.shtml. See what an expert in HS machining says about it here: http://www.invert-a-bolt.com/testimon.shtml. This type of workholding is recognized as THE way of hogging both hard and soft metal parts.
