Purchasing larger qtys of screwdriver bits

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but my company is looking to buy larger quantities of 1/4" hex insert bits, the 1" long type, commonly used in screwdrivers. A whole mix of different head styles- Phillips, Pozi, hex, slotted, etc.

Typically it looks like you need to be buying several thousand bits before you go directly to most manufacturers. We're looking at buying a couple thousand with each order. Does anybody know of a good source for these, where you can get wholesale type discounts?

And no- we're not planning on machining these ourselves!

    Thanks
p.s. any suggestions for other forums for info would be appreciated too

I have seen some in "candy jars" at Home Depot. Check them out, perhaps you can get supplier info from the jars.

You might try contacting Apex and find a rep/distributor.
