    Dim. I have a bunch of Craftsman hand tools my father accumulated in the 70's and some I bought early to mid 80's. Decent quality, serviceable tools. Stuff they sell now is garbage and soon the "name" won't be worth much.

    Sears stores just don't hold the allure that they once did. They don't have the customer draw that they once did, particularly since online buying from the likes of Amazon. Sears is in the death spiral and will continue unless they make some radical, fundamental changes in the way they do business. Selling off assets can only continue for so long (until the core assets are all gone).
