Hi guys I'm ruining VF6 Vertical mill,I'm trying to set in tool offset ,size of cutter so I can change cutter dia and that will change size of my part what I have to do to accomplish this.I'm using master cam 9 and in tool compensation I have set to reverse wear but it did not do anything for me in machine so I wonder what I have to change in machine settings |

| I think you have a Mastercam problem, not a machine setting problem. Did you use Computer compensation or Control compensation in Mastercam (in the dialog box for each cutter path). If you didn't use Control compensation, Mastercam is outputting the centerline cutter path, with no offset compensation. It has to be Control compensation to work the way you're asking.

| Check your CAM... under Parameter tab check it and see if the cutter comp is off. If it is off then turn it on either left or right hand side depend the cutter direction.
