Need Help!- No Display on Start up

I have a Haas VF2 and sometimes on power up the green light lights on the display but I get no beep and no display.If I reset the power to the machine after a few times I finally get the beep and the display has anyone had this problems . Thanks

Sounds like possible power supply problem or display (CRT) may need a cap job. How long have you had the problem?

It just started to happen and it doesnt do it all the time. For some weird reason it seems to happen when the machine is cold. When its warmed up it is ok . Its a 2001 VF2 for right now I just leave it on hopefully that doesnt hurt the machine. Thanks

Again, sounds like the CRT needs a cap job. This would involve removing the CRT and having it repaired. Basically, replacing all the caps in the CRT. When caps are bad, leaky, etc. it takes longer for them to charge. If you would be interested in repair, let me know. Hope this helps. Thanks.

I would discount the possibility that your CRT is bad. You say that when your machine won't start, you don't get a beep, this proves that the problem is not your CRT but something else. I would suggest that either the low volt power supply, or your video board need to be replaced.
