| I have a HAAS indexing head that has a problem. When the indexer makes it's move and comes to a stop the indexer has a vibration. I have a fixture that is made out of a 5C collet blank to hold our parts. If you hold the fixture you can feel the movement. I put an indicator on the fixture and it showed a .002movement. The movement is a oscillating and seem like it can't find it's spot to hold position. We were having problems with hole accuracy on one of the parts we are making. We need to holed +/- .0003". After checking the fixture for movement we now know why we can't hold size. Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Joe |
