Need Help!- HAAS ELECTRCAL WOOOS !

I HAVE A 93 VF1 HAAS 4 AXIS GIVING ME SOME ELECTRICL ALARMS INTERMITENTLY. CABLE FAULT IN THE Z AXIS . i HAVE CLEANED ALL THE ELECTRICAL CONTACTS SEEMS TO RUN BETTER THEN PUKES OUT ON ME. ANYONE WITH IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. IS THERE SPECIAL CLEANERS THAT SHOULD BE USED FOR THE CIRCUIT BOARDS? WHAT IS RECOMMENDED

Riff,
You should try to ohm out the cables for the "Z" axis. With the power off, take the cable(s) off of the "Z" motor, the amplifier card, and the mocon board. Have someone help you to ohm check each lead to see if you have an open lead from one end to the other. Also check your alarm history to see if you have an alarm that relates to the mocon board. I've seen this before. You may want to call in your local HFO, if your not sure what to do.

Thanks Joe , you have a good point I think the next step is to do a complete
continuity test through the system. Im not to sure about amplifiers,it would be great to figure out what has failed or is failing. It is funny you mention the card because I switched the a axis to the z axis and got the same alarm. I think its the card
