If you have macos, rotation and scaling can you just add the probe or is more required?
    Thanks!

What are you trying to install? Just a probe? Probe & presetter? You know that you also need the optical transmitter/receiver to talk to them, right? You'll also need a machine new enough to have a Skip Signal input on the I/O board.

After that, the hardware will all work, but you won't have any software to run it. The software needs the Macros, scaling, etc, to work. That software comes in the form of VQC templates that you can either buy from Renishaw or Haas. They amount to well written programs that use the probe & presetter to get the most out of the package.

I'm not sure which piece of that puzzle you were asking about, so you get all of it.
