G'day all, I have just bought my second Haas mill, a 2002 model VF1 which has the umbrella type tool changer. My question is regarding the air blast through the spindle while changing tools. Does anyone know if it possible to stop the air blast blowing while the carousel is rotating to the next tool and just have it blow as the spindle lifts off the tool and then blow again as the spindle moves down to pick up the next tool again? I'm just trying to save some compressed air and a bit of noise. Thanks. Regards, Dave.
