rigid tapping parameter

i recently had a chip auger installed on our tmp-1 machine and they supplied a new circuit board during the install,how do i tell if the rigid tapping function was re-enabled at that time?

the reason i ask is all of a sudden i am breaking 5 taps in a row on the first hole.

went to a tool rep and purchased there drill and tap combo,tried there reccomended feed and speed and snap on the first hole again.

cant figure it out.

coolant is 5 on refractometer

I dont remember the parameter number but go down about 4 or 5 pages and you should see it. Did trip install it for you?

found out today from hfo that rigid tapping was never enabled at the factory,had the machine almost 2 years and never knew.

rigid tapping is a beautiful thing to witness.
