By the way the item mounted on your table at the back left edge of your fixture plate is a Renishaw Tool Setter. It is utilized to check the length and also the diameter of tools that are utilized in the machine. They also probably have a Renishaw Probe that mounts as a tool in the spindle. I don't see it in the picture. You are welcome to visit my website and take a look at the videos I have on the Renishaw Probe and Tool setter to get a basic idea of how they operate. http://www.helicopterjohn.com/gallery/ Good luck on your new venture into CNC machining. I am a newbie and hope you enjoy it as much as I have. John |

| It is a spy eye that is hooked to a camera in the boss's office so he can make sure you are working. ![]() And if you believe that I have a bridge in Brooklyn and some desert property in Florida for sale. (It is Sunday morning and I am relaxing and not feeling particularly serious. Is that the machine you are working on? It looks nice and new and clean.
