Hello, I am planning to buy an old horizontal HS1. What do you think about this machine? I only cut cast aluminum, speed is not an issue, but I would seek reliability. Thanks, George

We have a HS-1 RP and have had a lot of trouble with the Pallet Changer.
We have also had trouble with chips getting into the tool changer sockets, since they are inside the machining chamber.
I would not recommend this machine unless you have a very good maintenance staff and a very good HFO to help you.
