Have been having alarm 166 (Y return margin too small) error upon zeroing all axis on startup. I have replaced the mechanical Y axis limit switch to no avail. I checked the switch connections for tightness as well as the servo-motor connectors. I have had this problem before and cleaned the limit switch and it solved the problem but not this time. I also checked the arm that contacts the switch to trigger it and it appeared tight and not bent or damaged. Waiting on my HFO to respond but I though I throw this out on the forum to see if anyone has encountered this problem and found the solution. Thanks in advance. Robin |

| Thanks for the quick response! I do not know anything about the grid offset or how to set this. I suppose this is done through parameters and settings. Would you be so kind as to elaborate on how I do this. Thanks, Robin A. Last edited by robard; 04-08-2009 at 03:16 PM. |

| Robard, I have been told by the service engineer that he tried to send you an email and it did not work. Can you please email me and I will forward his email to you. wreilly@haascnc.com |
