I was wondering if there are offline Gcode plotters available for Haas controller. I have an older dos based program from a CNC class I took a few years back and Xpert CNC editor that came with VisualMill but none of them works with Haas's M97 local sub routine call nor with macro variables. Currently I have to load the program into the Haas and plot it on the controller which can be a bit time consuming going though the various local sub routine. Is there a faster way to graphically plot the gcode on or offline? Is there a fast forward button on the Haas controller for plotting? Thanks, John |

| Hi Mactec54, Is it better to use M98 and call an external program? I'll try it and see if the external plotting program will work with it. I kind of like the M97 local call for looping because all the gcodes are contained with one file. thanks, John |

| I use local call too because I like the programs when they are in one piece. If you`re searching an offline plotting software try "mach3" this is an pc machine controller but you can use them for checking your codes. |

| Hi Johnjw The M97 with your Haas control should work just fine I just read about it in there manual M97 local sub-program it looks like it could be handy some times for short sub progams It still has to be put together correctly to make it work I just got used to using M98 sub call so never bothered to look at anything else
