G83 I J K question

I am running a peck drill file that needs to clear clamps which are an inch above my part , I have been running the following file on my other machine and living with the peck drill beginning at the retract hieght and just losing time drilling air.
Looking thru the Haas manual I see the ability to use I J K with g83 . Could someone familiar with it re-write the line below using g83 I J K as an example? Thanks

The purpose of the IJK is peck control, which I don't see to be your problem. What you need is to invoke G98, initial plane return, to bring the tool up to Z1.1 between hole locations and set your R plane at 0.1

G98 G83 Q.05 X4.9765 Y-12.9750 Z-1.00 R0.1000 F6.00

G99 is R plane return and could be used whenever it is safe to rapid around at the R plane.

You can download a copy of the Haas xmwb.pdf from the Haas website, and learn all the intricacies of G83 and G73 drill cycle programming. There is a ton of permutations

Geof will become famous soon enough

Setting 52 also comes into it; this is G83 retract above R which means that you can set R right at the surface so you don't waste time drilling air but the drill will retract well above the surface to clear chips and let coolant into the hole.

With Setting 52 at 0.5 the G83 below will drill 1.5" deep at a feed of 20.0 ipm. The first peck will be 0.7", the I value; the subsequent pecks will be reduced by 0.15, the J value, but the pecks will never go below 0.2, the K value. ecause R is very close there is no time wasted but because Setting 52 has plenty of clearance the chips will clear and coolant will get in.

We have been to the Haas site many times and have not seen this.
Please Tell us where this can be found.

thanx

This;

Should take you to the sitemap for the Haas website.

Scroll down a bit and you will see the heading CUSTOMER SERVICE on the right. Below this you will see things like Haas Training and Manual Updates. You should find what you need in these links.
