toolchanger will only index in one direction. not both
What is the problem.
No I'm not calling the repair guy.
If I can't fix it cheaply, it's out of here.

If you are on the cheap call the factory and they should be able to help.

On larger haas machines there are 4 relays in the middle of the i/o board. these control shuttle in and out and rotation try swapping the relays around and see if the problem moves with the relay. All 4 relays are identical no need to worry about coil voltage. I am assuming it is the same for a mini mill.

Looked in my maint manual.
K11 adn K12 are the CW and CCW relays.
I don't recall which one didn't work awhile ago. Now it works both dirrections. I had reseated them both.
I'm thinking a weak relay. Bought 4 of them for about $7.00 apiece from a place in NJ.
Be here Tuesday.
Machine runs now so I don't know if the relay was warm and didn't want to play or if reseating it cured it. But it's running.
