    Part for programmable coolant nozzle.

Hey all! Newbie here with 19 years of cnc experience. Recently a mechanical part inside our programable coolant nozzle box failed. HFO technician said that the only way to repair it would be to swap out the entire box. Haas will not sell us just the bad part. This is not an option since the nozzle is more of a luxury and not a necessity. Is there any resource for repair parts for Haas machines that I can reference? This machine is a 2007 VF-3SS. Where can I locate a non-working unit to use for parts? All help is appreciated. Thanks!

Which part failed? Is it the position-count or end-position switch? A number of people have had that failure. I took mine apart and sprayed electrical contact cleaner around the plunger hole. I didn't get much in there but it was enough to get it working again.

Others have found a replacement switch on Newark or Digikey's websites.

The bad part is not a switch. It's the bronze part that the meshes with the worm gear, which in turn directs the nozzle on the other end up and down. I'll try to post a pic when I get a chance. By the way the part has 10607 stamped on it.

Yeah. It's the 34 position unit. Thanks for the reply! Shoot me a PM with some info if you would.

    1. How old is this machine?
    2. What is the serial number?
    3. Is this machine under warranty?
    4. What color is the pcool unit?
    5. Have you already narrowed the problem to a single part?
    6. If no, what are the symptoms?
    7. Can you post a picture of the dismantled unit?
    Thanks,
    Ken Foulks

    -Early 2000's
    -S/N 40000
    -No warranty
    -Pcool unit is
-I already epoxied the part together and it seems to be working for now. Around here, the Pcool is more of a luxury than a necessity so if it goes down again, we'll probably not spend the money on the whole unit.

    Thanks

#4 was the most important, is it an old black unit?
    Thanks,
