I dont like not having QC in edit, I dont like the IPS for machining day to day - but just to quickly 'bang a hole' in something as a one off i can see its benefits.
I do strongly prefer the IPS probing to anything else i.e. VQC
Anyone else got an opinion they'd like to share? |
We use the IPS for all our programming needs, most of our parts are pretty simple, stuff like profiles, facing, threading, drill and tapping. Once I have the print I can bang the program out in under 15 minutes. But this is on the lathe, for our mill we use a cam program. |
