Setting 142

What is it for? It is set to .25 on our machine. I think it is "Max offset" (i'm not by the machine right now). Every time I change a tool length or diameter it gives me a warning.

Also, is there a list of all of the different settings and a short description of what they change? I know most are obvious but some are not clear to a CNC newbie.

Yes, 142 limits the amount of offset change you can enter without getting the warning. The settings are detailed beginning on page 175 of the Mill Operators manual.

Thanks! I'm 99% sure that the manual that came with our machine is an old (2006) version. Ill double check this week but I just D/L the new one!
