Can I put a network card in a 98 VF2? I need all information to do it if it is possible. Thank you for the help. jetski

| As far as I am aware you can NOT now fit Ethernet to this machine. The Ethernet option supplied on new machines will only work with LCD displays and version 13+ software. There was an Ethernet option available on machines with the CRT display but Haas discontinued the supply of this when the latest version was made available. They still support any machines with it already fitted but will not supply the option for retrofit, this has been the case for aprox. 4 years. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If you only want to transfer programes to the machine it may be possible to do this through the RS232 port and use a converter to switch the RS232 into an IP address, doing it this way you can normally send at much higer Baud rates, Typically 115,200 Baud |
