well its been barely 3 weeks since I ordered the VF4 and its on a truck just a few hundred miles away . I am very excited , hopefully we will have it on the shop floor in the morning

We had similar rapid delivery on three machines last year. It is nice but you know it means Haas must have guys standing around just waiting for something to do, or did because I saw a news article about them laying off 200 people.

Mill landed this week, the truck broke down so it was delayed about a week . Moved it in the building yesterday and electritian is finishing up wiring now.

The painful part is the service guy from Haas wont be here for a little over a week to finish the install , hopefully service down the road wont take a week+ . Kind of figured after the week delay in delivery my service order might be at the top of the list .

All that aside I am very happy with the machine . It sure got big once it was situated in my tiny building, glad I didnt order the vf5. 40 tool side mount tool changer is huge. Will post a couple of pics shortlty
