| I think it is a SETTING or PARAMETER. I am pretty sure my machines rotate the shortest way to the next tool, both lathes and mills and I seem to recall seeing something about 'Tool Change or Turret Rotate Shortest Distyance'.

![]() Seriously, sounds like a switch, relay, or parameter or setting. Motors don't fail that way, if they spin fine one direction then the windings and bearings are good. Definatly control related. Hope this helps. |
