Need Help!- CNC MILL HAAS

Hello everybody .
I have a vf-1 cnc mill haas 1994 .and I have problem with the tool change
I get in alarm ( 113 shuttle in fault ) sombody can help me up pls.

Seems like I remember getting the same thing on my mini mill.
On mine one of the proximity sensors had gotten a chip on it.
I had to hunt around and find all the sensors for the tool changer, and wipe them off. After that it worked fine.

On a 1994 machine they will be microswitches. It is possible of the microswitchs for the shuttle is stuck. One is visible on the track the shuttle moves along the other is behind the covers at the opposite end. Check that these are working correctly.

I've had the relays on the IO board "stick". They get carbon on the contacts and don't release fast enough, so you get an alarm. You can remove the relays, take the clear plastic cover off and clean the contacts. I used to use a diamond nail file on them. I'd order a few spares to have on hand.

If you go to the diagnostics page scroll to the second page and manually actuate the shuttle in and out switches and you can see if they are operating correctly on the screen.
