    User M codes

The relays controlled by the User M codes in the Haas machines can switch 3amps at 120VAC and need snubber protection for inductive loads; this is a bit limiting and it is not possible to control motors for extra coolant pumps or hydraulic accessories. We use these codes on several machines and have made interface boxes that use the machine relay to operate a large size relay so we can control large motors.

Our shop-made interface boxes are a bit hokey and I am planning on having some professionally done so they meet our local codes. I figured possibly there are other people who might have use for these type of interfaces and I could add a few to my order and then pass them on at my cost plus shipping and taxes when applicable.

Anyone interested? I have no idea of the price but expect it will be a few hundred dollars each.

I put this thread here rather than the quote forum because I didn't want it buried and I am not doing this for a profit. If this contravenes zone policy and it gets shifted and lost I will just drop the idea of getting extra.

I would have though there would be to many option variations to make one a standard?
For example, single pole relay, three phase contactor, three phase reverser, OL and contactor size/rating etc? Fusing?

Im assuming this is going to be just a simple single phase 120v cnc controlled on off switch.... Maybe I shouldn't make this assumption and just sign up for one

Single phase 120VAC at 15 amps; they plug into a standard three pin AC outlet and have a standard socket on the back. They can be used to directly control motors and can also be used to control larger multi-contact relays for heavier equipment.

There will be a power on/off switch with an indicator light, a three position relay on/enable/disable switch with indicator lights and circuit breaker on the AC socket.

We will also get some with the M-FIN wiring for sensing when an action is complete.; this will have a reset button for the M-FIN circuit.

    There will be power on/o
